Strategies Implemented To Stop Fgm/C: A Case Study of Kenya and Ethiopia (2012)

Objective: To investigate how the local organisations and governments have dealt with the eradication of the practice and this was presented with the two case studies i.e. Kenya and Ethiopia.
Study Population: NA
Findings: Local organisations and governments had participated in the fight against FGM/C and they had archived some results. However the conclusion also pointed out that the argument of FGM/C being a violation of the human rights may be the ideology that seemed to fit in well with most countries but it had faced its criticism and these objections reflected the slow rate of eradication of this practice
