Findings: The study found that women who had undergone FGM/C required care so that there was an improved childbirth outcome. This special type of care had to be offered through a nonjudgmental approach with an emphasis on psychological support. Attitude of health professionals was a matter of great importance and more in detail needs to be thoughtful,noncritical and intensely knowledgeable of the profound consequences FGM/C
