Objective: To estimate the number of girls under the age of 18 at risk of FGM in the City of Westminster
Study Population: Girls under the age of 18
Findings: The results of this study indicated that 770 girls aged 3-18 studying in Westminster schools are at risk of becoming,or are already,victims of FGM. The results also find that Somali speaking girls with a total of 225 speakers constitute the highest number of those at risk.
